Engine Output on the F-150 3.0-liter Diesel Engine
The hotly anticipated 3.0-liter Ford Power Stroke V-6 diesel engine is living up to the hype, with best-in-class diesel horsepower and towing capacity as well as awesome highway mileage targets. This engine should be able to offer drivers a class-leading 250 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. Drivers will be able to access peak torque at just 1,750 rpm, and be able to enjoy confident torque in the full rpm range.
Even better this engine has a target mileage of 30 mpg on the highway, which would make it fuel-sipping as well as powerful.
How much can the F-150 diesel engine haul?
While all the models in the 2018 Ford F-150 lineup can offer confident towing and hauling, the diesel V-6 engine option in this pickup will raise the bar. It will offer up to 11,400 pounds of towing capacity and a payload potential of up to 2,020 pounds. This means plenty of hard work possible at home, on trips, or on the worksite.
What models will be available with the new Power Stroke?
