EcoBoost Powertrain
The 2.7-liter twin-turbo V-6 on the Edge ST (mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission) offers 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. Especially when in Sport mode, this allows the 2019 Edge ST to offer bold acceleration and gutsy handling without skimping on power.
Top Capability
A camera car must be able to haul a full crew as well as a huge camera attachment that can weigh up to 1,000 pounds, and it still has to be able to go fast to keep up with the main vehicles. This model also offers all-wheel drive and up to 3,500 pounds of towing potential.
Interior Space
The 2019 Ford Edge ST is a midsize crossover, but there is nothing midsize about its interior. The camera car was gutted and filled with computing equipment and gear, but even the standard model offers five-passenger seating and 39.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row.
