Art Crawl Off 84
How does a 25 mile stretch of art along a scenic highway sound to you? The annual Arts Off 84 art crawl is just that. It is held every Saturday and Sunday during Labor Day weekend along Highway 84, between Pine River and Longville, MN. It seeks to promote the work of local artists and keep up the area’s art presence. You’ll find everything from high-end art forms to quality handcrafted items.

- Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 @ 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015 @ 10:00am – 4:00pm
GSTA Muscle Car Shootout
The annual Gopher State Timing Association Muscle Car Shootout is the essential Labor Day weekend event in Brainerd — and we’re not just saying that because we’re car people! There’s also food, music, and a classic car show. This is the 27th occurrence of the GSTA Muscle Car Shootout, and hopefully the best yet. In total there’s seven different car classes that will compete head to head on the Brainerd Raceway.
The car show will run from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, September 5. Additionally, live music and plenty of food can be found at The Wheelie Bar & Grille starting at 9:00pm on Saturday. .
End of Summer Bash
For many, Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer. Want to go out in style? Head over to the End of Summer Bash on September 5, 2015. The event will feature lots of high energy rock bands. Tickets are $15 at the gate, or $10 if you buy them in advance, which also comes with a buy one get one free drink deal.
