Which Advanced Safety Features are Included in Ford Co-Pilot360™?
The following advanced safety features make up Ford Co-Pilot360™.
- BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) With Cross-Traffic Alert
BLIS helps detect and alert the driver to vehicles in the blind spot, while Cross-Traffic Alert detects traffic behind the vehicle while slowly backing out of parking spot or driveway
- Lane-Keeping System
Scans the road ahead of the vehicle and detects lanes and alerts driver if they veer out of lane
- Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
Scans the road for potential collisions and applies brakes if the driver doesn’t correct driving soon enough
- Intelligent Adaptive Control
Includes Speed Sign Recognition, Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering—automatically adjusts speed to speed limit signs, stops the vehicle when traffic slows or stops and resumes to set speed
- Evasive Steering Assist
Provides a warning and extra steering support to avoid potential collisions
- Reverse Brake Assist
Detects stationary and moving objects behind the vehicle and alerts the driver of hazards, applying brakes if necessary
- Rear View Camera
Provides a clear view of what’s behind the vehicle while backing up
- Active Park Assist 2.0
Parks the vehicle in a parallel or reverse perpendicular spot when the driver comes to a complete stop, shifts to Neutral and holds the Active Park Assist button
- Auto High-Beam Headlamps
Senses for poor lighting conditions and adjusts the headlights to maximize visibility and also turns off high beams when oncoming traffic approaches
- BLIS® with Trailer Coverage
Alerts the driver when a vehicle is in either the Ford or trailer’s blind spot
- Pro Trailer Backup Assist™
The vehicle backs up trailer while the driver rotates a knob in the direction they want the trailer to go
- Hill Descent Control™
Helps the driver maintain a set speed while descending a hill and applying brakes if necessary
