If you are interested in checking fluid levels in your vehicle, there are several that you should consider checking out. These include the engine oil and filter, transmission fluid, coolant or radiator fluid, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid, power steering fluid and air conditioning coolant. We also recommend that drivers are diligent about checking the tire pressure on a regular basis, as a drop in temperature can result in loss of tire pressure.

How else can I prepare for driving in winter?
When preparing to drive in winter months, we recommend that driver’s check the tread level on their tires and upgrade to a tread that can perform during all seasons and on more slick roads. Also, drivers should prepare an emergency kit for your vehicle that has a blanket, phone charger, battery pack, a flash light, hand warmers, jumper cables, a first aid kit, bottled water, road flares, windshield cleaner and an ice scraper.
