2018 F-150 diesel engine performance specs release date

Year after year, the Ford F-150 continues to blow away the competition with some incredible innovation. A couple of years ago, Ford starting using high-strength, military-grade aluminum to build the truck. The resulting improvements to handling and efficiency scores have put the rest of the full-size pickup truck class on notice. For the 2018 model year, Ford is changing the game again by introducing the company’s first diesel engine for the F-150 platform. The brand new turbocharged, 3.0-liter, Power Stroke V-6 diesel engine will be mated to the automaker’s 10-speed automatic transmission, a segment-first.
