The first of three Ecoboost engine options on the 2017 F-150 is a 2.7-liter brute with 325 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque. This bad boy can tow up to 8,500 pounds; it can also support up to 2,210 pounds in it payload. With the standard Auto Smart Stop Technology, dual-direct and port fuel injection system and turbochargers on top of it all, this is one might beast.
Raptor DOHC 24-valve, high-output 3.5L EcoBoost engine
Exclusive to the Raptor, the all-new, twin-turbo, intercooled DOHC 24-valve, high-output 3.5L EcoBoost® is a legitimate game changer. Earning 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, the strength of this behemoth is beyond words. Also, since the Raptor is designed especially for off-road performance, this one will be a lot of fun to drive both on and off the concrete.
