Christmas is easily one of our favorite times of the year at Houston Ford, and it’s not very hard to see why! People are always in such a great mood, and we think part of the reason is that there’s so many fun Christmas events in Pine River. If you’re looking for some fun things to do this season, then you should take a look at these 2015 Christmas Events in Pine River MN.
City of Lights Celebration and Holiday Fireworks
When: Nov. 27,2015 @ 2:00pm to 11:55pm
Where: Downtown Nisswa
If you want to get away from the business of Black Friday shopping, then we fully recommend heading over to the City of Lights Celebration and Holiday Fireworks in Nisswa the day after Thanksgiving. This will be the 34th annual event that starts in the afternoon with horse-drawn wagon rides, plenty of fun stories being told, food, carolers, and plenty more. Then, at 5:30pm the lights throughout town are lit up as Santa welcomes all the children. The event finishes up with a firework show, followed by live music.

There’s free entertainment, the aforementioned cider, sandwiches, horse drawn sleigh rides, and even Santa and Mrs. Claus will be attending! The City tree will also be lit.
The Enchanted Village

Explore the Pioneer Village that has been fully decorated for the season, and enjoy tons of fun for the entire family as you do. There’s a trolley ride led by Santa, bonfires, heated buildings, hot chocolate, popcorn, and much more!
